Delta Customers expect a reliable product with high aesthetic values, guaranteeing safety and, additionally, meeting their needs The possibility of full configuration with online personalization is a tribute to the company towards its Customers, who can now make a complete calculation quickly and efficiently, without leaving home.
The creation of the Online Door Configuratorwas focused on improving the quality of Customer service by accelerating the order realization process and eliminating errors during the ordering process.
The Online Doors Configurator allows you to choose the right type of door, its color, dimensions, accessories or finishing elements thanks to a specially designed path for placing an order.
The created tool enables the selection of the best-suited door to the Customer’s needs from the manufacturer’s wide offer, leading them step by step through the process of selecting subsequent parameters. The user can choose, among other things, a color, embossing, glazing, accessories and other things, while viewing the product preview at each configuration stage.
The Door Configurator is also often used by Delta sales representatives. They can collect all the information they need from the Customer and then place an order using the configurator. Orders are automatically sent to the company’s internal system.
Automating the entire process has brought benefits to both Delta and its Customers. The implementation of the Door Configurator significantly lowered service costs for the seller, while for the buyer the waiting time for implementation was significantly shortened. The tool also eliminated situations in which orders turned out to be impossible to fulfill in the production process or the final product differed from the original vision of the customer. Already at the stage of placing the order, the ordering party can now visualize the appearance of the door with all the accessories.
The Online Door Configurator has significantly improved the order handling process, among others by eliminating incorrect orders and automating the process of adding orders to Delta's internal systems. The tool is valuable both for the Customers as well as for employees and partners of Delta.
The implementation of the Online Door Configurator allowed not only to automate and accelerate the ordering process, but also to eliminate erroneous orders. Using the internal system associated with the configurator, verification of the correctness of the orders placed is now carried out by the manager with a single button. Before the implementation of the Door Configurator, the verification was carried out by a group of people, analyzing individual orders (errors in the analysis resulted in the implementation of orders inconsistent with the Client’s vision). Joint analysis of the problem, proposing solutions and consulting also at the business level, allowed our team to provide a solution that, hopefully, is a beginning in further innovative steps of on-line solutions.
