The logistics industry is one of the most dynamically developing sectors of the economy, so it is no surprise that it requires comprehensive solutions. Collaboration with clients often involves multi-stage processes, starting from acquiring orders to maintaining constant communication in later stages.
To make this process as smooth as possible, a well-thought-out system is needed to streamline all daily tasks. In 2017, we undertook the creation of such a tool for Zargood International, a company providing transport and forwarding services. Since then, this product has been continuously modernized.

Companies offering transport and forwarding services must demonstrate professionalism and good organization to continuously monitor and efficiently manage client processes. Therefore, automation of work is essential. Technological advancements help manage not only the reception and packing of goods but also communication with recipients. In the case of Zargood International, employees and their clients can use a functional, dedicated system that allows management of activities at every stage of transport and its handling. As a result, the company can provide a wide range of services on national and international roads, meeting the expectations of even the most demanding clients.
Challenges:
- Handling a large volume of emails from within the system.
- Ability to transfer processed orders between individuals and departments within the company.
- Sending and receiving orders for drivers.
- System for managing cooperating carriers, including updating the positions of their vehicles.
- Automation of the process of creating quotes and managing orders.
- Automatic tagging of threads that have been awaiting a response for an extended period and require intervention.
- Creating orders and processing them by dispatchers.
- Automatic generation of orders in PDF format and creation of summaries and reports from the orders.
The client was seeking a solution to the problem of communication with potential customers. A very large number of orders in the form of emails needed to be handled as quickly as possible by a small team. After successfully implementing the solution, the client approached us to add additional functionalities to the application to further streamline their work. Over several years of collaboration, we worked together with the client to develop ideas for solving additional problems, and most of these were successfully implemented. These solutions had a positive impact on work efficiency.

- A Single Page Application (SPA) allowing for seamless operation within the system.
- Implementation and advanced utilization of Google Maps.
- Creation of a special zone for carriers, designed for updating vehicle positions and adding them to the offer.
The basic version of the system performed excellently—already at this stage, communication between the client's team and their customers was improved. The implemented solution ensures quick contact through an internal, secure application using email. Tracking cargo and transports is another crucial feature, essential for the logistics industry.
